URETHROPLASTY
THERE ARE MANY SURGICAL TECHNIQUES
WITH OR WITHOUT GRAFTS THAT WE CAN PERFORM TO REPAIR URETHRAL
PENILE STRICTURES AND AT THE SAME TIME PERMIT THE AESTHETIC
RECONSTRUCTION OF THE GLANS AND THE PENIS. WE WILL SHOW SOME
VIDEOS TO EXPLAIN THIS KIND OF THE URETHROPLASTY.
FIRST-STAGE PENILE URETHROPLASTY IN STAGED PENILE URETHRAL RECONSTRUCTION
We do a one stage penile urethroplasty when there are bad urethral conditions, which don't permit to do an urethroplasty in only one surgical solution.
Therefore we must perform a staged urethroplasty. The
first step is first-stage urethroplasty.
After 6 months if the urethral plate is good we can
perform the second stage urethroplasty with the closure
of the urethral tube and the aesthetic reconstruction
of the glans and the penis. |

TWO-STAGE PENILE URETHROPLASTY IN STAGED PENILE URETHRAL RECONSTRUCTION
We make the second staged penile urethroplasty 6 month after first penile urethroplasty.
In this second stage we perform the aesthetic reconstruction of the glans and the penis.
Below we perform two simple surgical techniques to do a penile second stage urethroplasty. |

ONE-STAGE PENILE URETHROPLASTY
When we have good local urethral conditions, we can perform the penile one-stage urethroplasty, with the closure of the urethral tube and the aesthetic reconstruction of the glans and the penis. |

BULBAR URETHROPLASTY

We do this kind of urethroplasty when we have bad local urethral conditions, that don't permit to perform urethral bulbar one-stage reconstructions.
We do a staged urethral reconstruction: the first step is the fist-stage urethroplasty.
After 6 months if the urethral plate is good we do the second reconstructive urethroplasty. |

SOME PENILE PATHOLOGIES (SEVERE ZOON'S BALANITIS, GLANS DISPLASIA, PENILE SUPERFICIAL CANCER) CAUSE A SENSE OF BURNING AND PREVENT THE SEXUAL ACTIVITY.
