REDO OF FIRST-STAGE PENILE URETHROPLASTY WITH BUCCAL MUCOSA

Introduction
The video shows the case of patient, 34 years old, who had already undergone a first- stage urethroplasty for urethral stricture due to lichen sclerosus.

Material and methods
Complete resection of the scar in the urethral plate.
Urethral plate reconstruction with a new graft of buccal mucosa ( 4cm ) harvested from the cheeck.

Results
After 3 months we have a good urethral plate and the patient is ready for the second-stage urethral reconstruction.

Conclusion
Sometimes the lichen sclerosus causes the scarring of the buccal mucosa graft, therefore it is necessary to repeat the first-stage urethroplasty by removing the scar and racing a new buccal mucosa graft.
